Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a part-time Hiring Coordinator to join their team. This position is Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm for 20 hours per week. 

 

POSITION SUMMARY:  The Hiring Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Recruitment and Hiring Coordinator and facility Human Resource Directors. This position will assist in monitoring all employment related activity to ensure that all practices are non-discriminatory. This position is responsible for the pre-screening and hiring process of all applicants from assigned facilities. This position will be required to travel between Monarch facilities.

JOB DUTIES: The Hiring Coordinator will be responsible for management and coordination of the application and hiring process. Initially contact all applicants to assure that their application is being considered. Conduct first level telephone interviews to assess fit, knowledge, skills, capacity, and aptitude. Perform preliminary background screenings, rehire checks and previous employment reference checks. Schedule in-person interviews with qualified candidates and facility Human Resource Directors. Assist with interviews and hiring decisions as needed. Assure that Applicant Tracking System documentation is complete and appropriate. Assist with Assuring Hiring Practices are in compliance with EEOC, Affirmative Action and ADAAA requirements. Contact applicants who have been deemed unsuitable to inform them of the status of their application. Meet with facility Human Resource Directors weekly to determine facility staffing needs. Regularly visit assigned Monarch facilities to assess needs and get to know each facility's culture and structure. Maintain current knowledge of Monarch's policies and procedures. Present during orientation as it relates to the employee policy manual and employee benefits guide. Enter new hire information into appropriate software and systems.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must have basic computer competencies. Degree in Human Resources preferred. Must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations. Must qualify for employment, after criminal background check, per guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
