Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a Recruitment and Hiring Coordinator to join their team. This position is Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm. 

 

Position Description

This is a hands-on role with direct responsibility for hiring needs definition, planning and sourcing recruitment efforts, prescreening candidates, coordinating the hiring process, and assisting with retention efforts.

Position Responsibilities: 

Determine staffing needs and objectives

  • Participate in weekly staffing strategy meetings at all facilities
  • Regularly visit all Monarch facilities to assess needs and get to know each facility's culture
  • Develop relationships and maintain ongoing contact with facility Administrators or Housing Directors and Human Resource Directors
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of current job descriptions and update when restructuring and growth occurs

Develop and execute external and internal talent sourcing strategies

  • Maintain and update internal job postings
  • Manage and maintain company Applicant Tracking System
  • Explore and utilize new sources for developing an applicant pool by means of the Internet, social media, and other online avenues
  • Cultivate new and innovative recruiting sources
  • Develop collaborative working relationships with area universities, technical schools and high schools. Solicit opportunities for onsite recruitment visits in classroom setting and career events.
  • Plan, coordinate and participate in community job fairs and events and other special projects and recruiting initiatives
  • Work with Nursing Assistant Training Instructors to advertise and market course offerings to the community 

Source and refer eligible candidates to the facility Human Resource Directors for final selection processing

  • Initially contact all applicants to assure that their application is being considered
  • Conduct first level telephone interviews to assess fit, knowledge, skills, capacity, and aptitude.
  • Perform preliminary background screenings, rehire checks and previous employment references check
  • Refer only qualified candidates based on facility needs, location and culture compatibility
  • Follow up with qualified candidates to inform of the status of their application
  • Contact applicants who have been deemed unsuitable to inform of the status of their application
  • Assure that Applicant Tracking System documentation is complete and appropriate.
  • Provide training on interviewing, and the selection process, as necessary
  • Assure hiring practices are in compliance with EEOC, Affirmative Action and ADAAA requirements.

Maintain ongoing contact with employees to assist in retention efforts

  • Make periodic follow up contact with new employees throughout the 90 day engagement experience to ensure that their training needs and questions are being addressed
  • Conduct in person or phone Exit Interviews with all resigning employees prior to last day of employment

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or Related Field

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Recruiting or Marketing
